Areas We Serve

Microcurrent Neurofeedback for Golden

In Over Highway 93 and Ward Road. Fifteen to Twenty Two Minutes.

Golden sits southwest of us at the foot of the hills. The studio is at 8795 Ralston Rd #100, Arvada, CO 80002, reached most easily by heading north on Highway 93 and cutting east, or by taking Ward Road north and turning onto Ralston Road.

People book from downtown Golden, from the Applewood side, and from the canyon neighborhoods above the city. The last group tends to plan the trip around weather rather than traffic, which is a fair thing to think about between November and March.

Momentous offers passive microcurrent neurofeedback in Arvada and Broomfield, with sessions intended to support relaxation and stress reduction. Sensors are placed at points around the cranium, the system reads brainwave activity, and it returns a very brief, very low microcurrent signal. You sit in a chair and nothing is asked of you.

It is not medical care, it is not a substitute for medical care, and it is not a therapy. Momentous does not identify or address health conditions. Please keep seeing whoever you already see.

A short drive down from the hills, and nothing asked of you when you arrive.

Getting Here

The Drive From Golden, and the Visit Itself

What Is the Route From Golden?

From downtown Golden, north on Highway 93 and then east on 64th Avenue or Highway 72 brings you across to Arvada and onto Ralston Road. From the Applewood side, Ward Road north to Ralston Road is the simplest line.

From the canyon neighborhoods, come down into Golden first and pick up Highway 93. In winter, add time for the descent rather than for the city streets, and call us rather than driving badly if the road is poor.

  • Downtown Golden, fifteen to twenty minutes
  • Applewood and the Youngfield side, twelve to eighteen minutes
  • North Golden near Highway 93, fourteen to twenty minutes
  • The canyon neighborhoods above the city, twenty five minutes and upward

What Happens When I Get There?

You park on site, walk in level to Suite 100, and sit down. On a first visit there is a conversation before anything is set up, and you will know what the equipment does before it goes anywhere near you.

  • The studio is at 8795 Ralston Rd #100, Arvada, CO 80002. Suite 100 is the ground floor unit, so it is a level walk from the lot to the front door with no stairs and no lift.
  • Parking is on site and free. There is no permit to display and no meter to feed.
  • Sessions run on Monday and Wednesday between twelve and five, with other days by appointment.
  • About ten minutes early is enough for a first visit. That covers a glass of water and a short conversation before anything is set up.

When Are Sessions Available and What Travels Best?

Sessions run on Monday and Wednesday between twelve and five, with other days by appointment. That matters more than distance for most people, because a short drive at an impossible hour is harder than a longer drive at a good one.

People who live further out tend to book the first slot or the last one of the day and travel against the traffic. If neither Monday nor Wednesday works for you at all, say so when you contact us rather than forcing a slot that will not hold.

From Golden, the mid morning and early afternoon slots are the pleasant ones. Highway 93 and the 64th Avenue crossing are unremarkable outside the commute and tedious inside it.

What Happens if Weather Stops Me Getting Down the Hill?

Call the studio. We would rather move a session than have anyone drive a bad road for a wellness appointment, and nothing about the spacing of sessions makes one missed visit a problem.

Who Comes to Us From Golden?

A lot of people who are already deliberate about recovery. Cyclists and climbers, people working long research and engineering hours, and people who spend their weekends outdoors and want their weekdays to feel less switched on.

We do not chase symptoms. We work with the brain and nervous system, the control center behind them, and sessions are intended to support relaxation and stress reduction rather than to address any condition.

What Should I Read Before Booking?

The safety and suitability page first, because it is where we say who this is not appropriate for, and the first visit page second, because it removes most of the uncertainty about the hour itself.

If you want the honest version of the evidence rather than a claim, the research section states what we know, what we do not, and what device clearance actually covers.

  • Safety and suitability, including when we say no
  • Your first visit, start to finish
  • What we do not know, stated plainly
