Understanding Microcurrent Neurofeedback

What Is Microcurrent Neurofeedback?

Microcurrent neurofeedback is a gentle, passive form of neurofeedback designed to support relaxation and stress reduction. Small sensors are placed at specific points around the cranium to read brainwave activity while the system provides subtle microcurrent feedback in response.

Unlike traditional neurofeedback, there is nothing you need to practice, control, or perform. No games. No concentration. No trying to quiet your mind.

Simply Breathe & Receive.

How It Works

What Your Session Looks Like

Your only job is to get comfortable. We take care of the rest.

  • Get Comfortable

    Settle In

We'll welcome you in, answer any questions, and help you get comfortable before your session begins.

No rushing. No pressure. Just a few minutes to settle in.

  • Sensors Are Placed

    Simple, Non-Invasive Setup

Small surface sensors are placed at specific locations on the scalp and near the ears. Nothing is injected, nothing breaks the skin, and you remain comfortably seated throughout the session.

  • The Session Begins

    Breathe + Receive

Once everything is in place, your practitioner manages the technology while you simply relax.

The session is passive, so there is nothing you need to concentrate on, perform, or consciously control.

  • Notice What You Notice

    Reflect + Track Your Progress

After your session, simply return to your day and notice what feels different, if anything.

We want to hear how you are feeling and what you notice between visits. Your feedback, combined with objective measurements when appropriate, helps us track progress and better understand changes over time.

There is no “right” way to experience a session.

Why People Come

Different Symptoms. One Control Center.

People come to Momentous for many different reasons. Some want better sleep. Some want greater focus, more calm, improved resilience, or support navigating everyday stress.

The experiences may look different, but they all connect back to the same place: the brain and nervous system.

Rather than chasing individual symptoms, we focus on supporting the control center behind how you think, feel, respond, recover, and perform.

Our Approach

Clear, Thoughtful, and Centered on You

We want you to feel informed, comfortable, and confident in every step of your experience with Momentous.

Every person and every nervous system is different, which is why we do not make promises about specific outcomes or tell you exactly how many sessions you should need. Our role is to provide a thoughtful wellness experience, answer your questions openly, and help you understand what you may expect along the way.

Momentous Neurofeedback is a wellness practice and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. It is not a substitute for medical care. Research surrounding neurofeedback continues to evolve, and we believe in being transparent about both what is known and what is still being explored.

We will always give you clear information, space to ask questions, and the freedom to decide what feels right for you.

People book with us for different reasons

Each page below covers scheduling, privacy, and the questions that group asks most.

What a Session Feels Like

Come In. Get Comfortable. Breathe + Receive.

Your first visit gives us a little extra time to get to know you, answer your questions, explain the process, and make sure you feel comfortable before we begin.

Once you are settled, there is nothing to perform, practice, or get “right.” Your practitioner takes care of the technology while you simply relax. Close your eyes, enjoy the quiet, or just take a few minutes where nothing is being asked of you.

You are always part of the process. Ask questions, share what you are noticing, or let us know if you need anything along the way.

There is no perfect way to experience a session. Just arrive as you are.
