Who We Work With
First Responders and Public Safety
People in public safety roles work rotating shifts, get called back at short notice, and often finish a shift with hours of paperwork still to do. Two practical questions follow from that: when can an appointment realistically happen, and who gets to know about it.
This page answers both. It does not describe what sessions do, because that belongs on the explainer pages and because we do not make claims about outcomes.
What Does the Scheduling Problem Usually Look Like?
Fixed weekly appointments rarely survive a rotating roster. People tell us they can commit to a day of the week for three weeks and then the pattern moves.
So we book in short runs rather than standing slots, and we hold a small number of late and early windows for people whose day does not begin at nine.
- Short booking runs rather than a standing weekly slot.
- Early and late windows held back for shift patterns.
- Rescheduling a visit does not cost you the visit.
- Packages do not expire, so a busy month does not waste anything.
Who Finds Out That You Came In?
If you book and pay privately, nobody. We do not confirm to any employer, union, or department whether a named person is a client.
If your organization funds the seat, it is different in one specific way and identical in every other. The organization knows how many seats were used. It does not receive names, notes, or anything a person said. The anonymity model page explains exactly how that is enforced.
What If a Colleague Is in the Waiting Room?
We schedule with spacing rather than stacking appointments back to back, and the room is not shared. If you would rather not overlap with anyone at all, say so when you book and we will place you in a quieter window.
That request needs no explanation and we will not ask for one.
Can a Department Fund Sessions for Its People?
Yes. Organizations contract for a number of seats, and the people who use them are identified to us by an anonymized identifier rather than a name.
Reporting back to the organization is aggregate only. There is no individual row to expose, so there is nothing to leak.
