How It Works
How Microcurrent Neurofeedback Works
Microcurrent neurofeedback creates a responsive feedback loop between the brain and the technology. Sensors placed at specific points around the cranium read electrical brainwave activity, and the system responds with gentle microcurrent feedback through those same sensors.
There’s nothing you need to consciously control or perform. The feedback happens while you simply sit comfortably and relax.
At its core, it’s a simple process: your brain provides information, the system responds, and your brain has the opportunity to respond to that feedback.

A Closer Look
What to Know About Microcurrent Neurofeedback
What Does the Equipment Actually Read?
The sensors read EEG brainwave activity at the surface of the scalp. EEG gives us a real-time view of broader patterns and timing in brain activity.
It does not read your thoughts or tell us what you are thinking. It simply provides information the system can use as part of the neurofeedback process.
What Does the Device Send Back?
The same sensors then deliver subtle microcurrent feedback in response. The signal is very small and very brief, and most people do not feel it at all.
There are no sounds, screens, or games involved. The process happens quietly in the background while you rest.
Why don’t I Have to Do Anything During a Session?
Microcurrent neurofeedback is passive, which means the process does not depend on concentration, effort, or practice.
There is nothing to perform and no way to do it wrong. You can simply sit back, relax, and receive.
What Is the Practitioner Doing While I Sit There?
While you rest, your practitioner monitors the EEG reading, checks sensor contact, observes your comfort, and determines the most appropriate sensor placements throughout the session.
Placement may change during or between visits based on what is being observed.
- Sensor placement is selected intentionally for each session
- Contact quality is checked before feedback begins
- Your comfort and response are monitored throughout the visit
How Soon Does Anything Change, and What Changes?
Every brain is different, so each person’s experience can be different too.
Some people notice changes quickly. Others notice them more gradually, and some may not notice anything right away. We encourage you to pay attention to subtle shifts in areas like calm, sleep, focus, and stress response after your session.
Your own experience over time is the most meaningful thing to watch.
